The Chelsea Art District is looking like the location of choice for downtown designers in New York City this season. This time, the show was threeASFOUR and the vibe was definitely different.
Lynn Yaegar of Vogue, and Mickey Boardman of Paper, were among a crowd full of editors and stylists who attended the surreal presentation that Adi, Ange and Gabi (the designers who collaborate on the label) put together.
Imagine fifteen models – eight in black, seven in white – wearing a mix of woollen suits, lurex-silk tunics and edgy gloves studded with Swarovski crystals. A model was even positioned yoga style on a sound system – her breathing timed to create the soundtrack for the show!
