If you're anything like us then this will get you very excited. The 3rd Fashion in Film Festival is about to hit London, bringing with it a whirl of old-school cinematic style and showmanship that has us yearning for the time when feathers and showgirls were de rigueur.
Spread over four of the Capital's cultural venues and spanning almost two weeks, this major event seeks to explore costume in film as a form of spectacle. And what a spectacle! Head down to BFI Southbank, The Barbican, The Tate and The Horse Hospital for a visual feast of epic proportions.
Whether you opt for the ethereal elegance of the 1920s, the surreal aesthetic of the 70s or the hand-coloured brilliance of French films from as early as 1906, you're sure to come away inspired.
