Our new collections are starting to land and these perfectly pretty pictures have really got us in the mood for spring! They're by Arizona photographer Christopher Colville and are part of sequence called 27 Small Tragedies. Not only are they lovely to look at – we also love they way the images were produced. While on a journey through Iceland, Colville plucked a plant from the ground every morning and attached it to impregnated silver paper. He then attached that to his rucksack as he walked, and the sun that he hiked in burned the image onto the paper, leaving him with the ghostly photos above. The fact that the sun would have altered both his body and his art gives the finished result a personal, natural touch that we absolutely adore. If we weren’t obsessed with florals before, we certainly are now!
